PERMANENT STRAIGHT RISER REPAIR

Risers repairs are cost effective, non-intrusive (no shut down, and non suspension of production ). Risers repairs are certified permanent repair. DnV certified these repairs to have a leak containment capability up to 130 bar.

Straight Riser Clamp Repair Procedure



  1. Step1. Securing of riser and removal of riser clamps.
  2. Step2.initial surface preparation, grit blasting.





  1. Step3. Metal recovery and then wrap the severely corroded section with 6mm of Fibaroll for leak containment prior to positioning of sleeves.









  1. Step4. Positioning of prefabricated split metal sleeves on the affected area using chain blocks, at the repair zone.







  1. Step5. Welding of split sleeves together











  1. Step6. Pumping in propriety grout within annulus of steel sleeve.
  2. Step7. After Epoxy grout cures, Fibaroll is wrapped around steel sleeve.







  1. Step8. Safety paint application.
